Professional assistance in Academic and Market Research

Distinguish yourself from your peers and/or competitors by judiciously choosing a systematic and scientific data-based approach to problem-solving.

Useful qualitative techniques like focus group discussions and in-depth interviews often reveal their limitations when it comes to meet research objectives and bring solutions to research problems. In particular, exploratory, explanatory and causal research, which call for manipulation of numerical data, also require that hypotheses be tested.

These are the main features included in the Quantitative Research Packages offered to you:

I also propose to supervise your academic research and provide you guidance as to how to remain focused on your research objectives. I meticulously choose the best methodology for you to conclude your research project successfully. Above all, I always aim to get you a distinction in your dissertation.

For academic researchers, if you need professional assistance for your thesis/dissertation, view the list of available packages offered below. Once you have made up your mind to seek my assistance, please download this Word document, fill the form inside and mail it to raj.gunesh@hotmail.com.

Questionnaire design is one of the most crucial but underrated steps in research. If you are in doubt about how to conduct proper research, avoid taking risks only to find out later that your data cannot be analysed because of huge and insurmountable discrepancies in your questionnaire. This is precisely my job...

I design questionnaires that not only address research objectives/needs but also that meet all the requirements of academic/market research. Depending on the nature of the research topic and the magnitude of the survey, questionnaires will be tailor-made in terms of

  • Relevance and clarity of questions
  • Appropriateness of style to the target population
  • Question phrasing
  • Choice of measurement scales
  • Question sequence
  • Questionnaire layout

The questionnaires that I design ensure easy data entry and smooth data-processing. Questions are formulated in such a way that they lend themselves to specific statistical tests and allow the application of a maximum number of statistical techniques depending on customer requirements.

Designing your questionnaire professionally will help you collect accurate, valid and reliable data.

Research design is the blueprint for collection, measurement and analysis of data, that is, the plan and structure of investigation so conceived as to obtain answers to research questions. The plan is an overall scheme or program of the research. It includes an outline of what the investigator will do from writing hypotheses and their operational implications to the final analysis of the data.

Research methodology is that essential part of a research which determines the method by which data is to be retrieved, processed, analysed and tested.

I propose a research methodology write-up that includes

  • Identification of target population
  • Determination of sample size
  • Selection of the best sampling technique(s)
  • Design of measuring instrument
  • Data-processing method and software
  • Theory of data-testing and choice of tests
  • Statistical tests and techniques to be used in data analysis
  • Hypotheses to be tested in line with research objectives

My tailor-made write-up will guide you throughout your research and ensure that you wrap up your project safely and successfully.

Once your questionnaire is designed (and approved, in case of academic research), it is coded in SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences), even prior to administration. Before starting with the analysis, each data entry is double-checked and cases of missing data noted/coded.

The trustworthiness of statistical tests and techniques used, as well as interpretation of results, essentially depends on the quality of gathered data. You will benefit from initial data-testing:

  • Validity
  • Reliability
  • Sample adequacy
  • Normality

SPSS-generated tables are used to produce your charts in Microsoft Excel, thus giving your project a more alluring and professional look.

On the inferential side, I perform a wide range of statistical tests (parametric and non-parametric) on your request. My competence in applying multivariate statistical techniques covers the coveted Factor Analysis and Multiple Regression Analysis, amongst others.

Your final report will contain fully commented charts (and tables) and complete interpretation of SPSS outputs. I also advise my customers on recommendations to be made, based on my analysis.

I unofficially supervise academic research for both undergraduates and postgraduates. With a portfolio of over 200 projects/theses, supported by a strong academic background, I have ample experience to guide you and ensure that you sail through your research project.

For Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma, Bachelor's and Master's theses, my supervision starts as early as from the formulation of your research proposal. I make sure that your research aims and objectives are clearly defined, check your literature review and referencing, design your questionnaire, write up your methodology chapter and conduct your statistical analysis before helping you make recommendations.

For M. Phil and Ph. D theses, I principally take care of questionnaire design, research methodology and statistical analysis.

My portfolio includes, but is not restricted to, the following areas:

  • Banking & International Finance
  • Business Administration
  • Corporate Governance & Social Responsibility
  • Education
  • Environmental Sustainability
  • Human Resource Management
  • Management
  • Marketing
  • Medical Science
  • Psychology
  • Public Administration
  • Social Studies

with degrees awarded by prestigious universities worldwide. View my approach to supervision on Facebook.

Important note

In ALL cases, you will be required to submit your Introduction and Literature Review (or Situational Analysis, whichever applies) and conduct your survey. For each package (A to I) below, my contribution is represented by

COMPONENT A B C D E F G H I
Introduction
Literature Review or Situational Analysis
Research Methodology
Questionnaire design
Conduct survey
Data Entry
Data testing, processing and analysis (quantitative only)
Interpretation (charts, etc)
Interpretation (hypothesis testing and other statistical techniques)
Recommendations

  • For Packages A to D, you will write your own Research Methodology chapter, which I will amend by adding the sections on Data-testing and Analysis Techniques
  • You will be given an MS Excel file, with instructions on how to enter your data.
